WHY FLIGHT STRENGTH?
Instead of opting for a traditional navy strength gin, we chose to celebrate the Great Bustard’s status as the world’s heaviest flying bird. The bottle is also adorned in RAF blue, a tribute to my grandfather, who was one of "the few"—a wingman in the Battle of Britain, to Sailor Milan of 74 Squadron (The Tigers).
ABOUT
Flight Strength celebrates the world’s heaviest flying bird, Wiltshire’s iconic yet critically endangered Great Bustard. With a stronger punch than our original Great Bustard Gin, it includes an extra ingredient foraged from the Wiltshire Downs—rosehips. This addition brings a subtle sweetness that complements the herbal and spicy notes of yarrow, rocket and red clover. This creates a more complex and layered spiced flavour profile. It’s a gin that packs a punch while honouring the spirit of the land and the remarkable bird it’s named after.
- 57% ABV @ 500ml
- 225g of Alc / 1.4 Alc Units per 25ml
- Flight Strength / Contemporary London Dry
- Distilled and bottled in Downton, Wiltshire
- Small Batch, 100 bottles to a run, signed
- King Charles III is the patron of the charity
SUSTAINABILITY
Please keep your bottle as refills will become available in the near future.
