Cocktail glass with a mango and chill next to it.

Chilli Martini | Martini | Gin Cocktail

Looking to step outside your comfort zone and try something a little different? Our Mango Martini is a cocktail that rewards adventurous drinkers.

What makes this cocktail stand out is the subtle chilli influence. The sweetness of the mango initially takes centre stage, but as the flavours develop a gentle warmth begins to emerge. The chilli never overwhelms the drink. Instead, it works in harmony with the botanicals of the gin, creating depth and complexity while leaving a lingering warmth that slowly spreads across the palate.

Great Bustard Gin is particularly suited to this style of cocktail. Its herbaceous and citrus-led botanicals provide structure and balance, preventing the fruit from becoming overly sweet while allowing the chilli notes to shine through.

For those who enjoy a little extra heat, the recipe can easily be adapted by increasing the amount of chilli. A light touch creates a gentle warming sensation, while a more generous addition transforms the cocktail into something far bolder and more dramatic.

The result is a cocktail that feels equally at home on a summer evening or as a conversation starter at a dinner party. Sweet, refreshing, warming and full of character, the Mango Martini is proof that some of the most rewarding drinks are found just beyond the familiar.

It is warming, exciting and delicious.
