The Angel Face is a spirit-forward, equal-parts classic cocktail. It sits firmly in the pre-Prohibition and early Savoy era of drinks elegant, simple, and built entirely from base spirits rather than mixers. It is similar in structure to a Negroni and the perfect cocktail for autumn.
Its blend of Great Bustard Gin, Apple Brandy (our Eau de Vie), and apricot brandy captures the season’s warmth and depth. The crisp apple notes from the Brandy echo the harvest, while the apricot brandy adds soft, golden sweetness reminiscent of late-season fruit. The gin’s dry backbone keeps everything balanced and aromatic.
Served chilled, it’s a drink that feels both elegant and comforting — ideal for cool evenings when the air sharpens and the leaves start to turn.
