The exact origins of the English Garden cocktail are not well-documented, and there is no widely recognized single creator of this cocktail. It is a modern cocktail that has gained popularity in recent years, often enjoyed for its refreshing and floral flavors.
The English Garden cocktail typically includes ingredients such as gin, elderflower liqueur, apple juice, and lime juice. Some variations may also include cucumber or mint. The combination of these ingredients evokes the essence of an English garden, with its fresh and fragrant elements.
While the precise creator may not be known, the cocktail has become a favorite in many bars and restaurants, particularly those focusing on craft cocktails and contemporary mixology. Its popularity can be attributed to the growing interest in gin-based cocktails and the use of floral and botanical flavours in mixology.
